It's been more than a year since a serial killer descended on the quiet, mountain town of Bear River, Montana. The police still have no clues towards a suspect or a motive. The people are close to a panic - and none more so than the supernatural underworld that takes up residence in the town. The killings are pointed in their direction. It must be one of their own. But who? And why?



At the same time, the population of the sleepy town has boomed. There are more civilians in Bear River now than in any other point in the town's history. The supernatural population in particular has swelled to an unprecedented number. It's unusual to see a high volume of creatures and magic users in one place. Such numbers can be hard to control, and the respective leaders are struggling. No one is known for working together, but as the humans creep closer to a conclusion, they must come together to stop the killer before the knowledge of supernaturals becomes known to the town - and the world.
